Host Agreement
Last Updated: April 2026
This Host Agreement is a base operating agreement for individuals or businesses that list a two-wheeler on the RideAway platform. It should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any booking-specific terms shown in the app.
This document is intended as a practical baseline for RideAway hosts. Specific commercial terms, insurance terms, service fees, and local legal requirements may be updated in the app or in a separate written agreement.
1. Overview
By creating a host account, submitting a vehicle for listing, or accepting a booking, the Host agrees to make the listed vehicle available to eligible riders through RideAway according to the terms shown on the platform.
RideAway may provide technology, booking management, verification workflows, payment coordination, support, and other operational tools. The Host remains responsible for the accuracy of vehicle details and lawful ownership or authorization to list the vehicle.
2. Host Eligibility
- The Host must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into this agreement.
- The Host must provide accurate identity, contact, address, bank, tax, and vehicle ownership or authorization details when requested.
- The Host must ensure that the listed vehicle is not stolen, under unlawful possession, subject to undisclosed claims, or restricted from commercial or rental use where applicable.
- RideAway may approve, reject, pause, or request re-verification of a host account at any time for safety, compliance, or operational reasons.
3. Vehicle Standards
The Host must list only vehicles that are roadworthy, clean, properly registered, and supported by valid documents required for lawful use, including registration certificate, insurance, pollution certificate where applicable, and any other document requested by RideAway.
- The vehicle must be regularly serviced and maintained in safe operating condition.
- Photos, descriptions, pricing, location, availability, fuel or charging details, and accessories must be accurate and current.
- The Host must promptly report accidents, theft, document expiry, mechanical issues, or any condition that may affect rider safety.
- RideAway may inspect or request evidence of vehicle condition before, during, or after a listing remains active.
4. Listing and Bookings
The Host controls listing availability, pickup location, and other settings made available in the app, subject to RideAway policies. Once a booking is accepted, the Host must honor the booking unless cancellation is permitted by the platform policy.
RideAway may display estimated pricing, fees, taxes, deposits, penalties, and payout amounts in the app. The Host agrees that final booking and payout calculations may depend on actual ride duration, cancellation timing, damages, violations, or other verified adjustments.
5. Handover and Return
- The Host must hand over the correct vehicle at the confirmed time and place in safe, clean, and ride-ready condition.
- The Host must not hand over the vehicle outside the approved booking flow unless RideAway authorizes it.
- The Host and Rider may be required to record photos, odometer reading, fuel or charge level, helmet/accessory details, and visible damage at pickup and return.
- The Host must cooperate with RideAway support in case of late pickup, late return, breakdown, rider dispute, or emergency support requirement.
6. Earnings and Payments
Host earnings will be calculated according to the pricing, commission, deductions, taxes, penalties, and payout schedule shown in the app or otherwise communicated by RideAway.
RideAway may withhold, adjust, or set off payouts for cancellations, refunds, rider claims, damage claims, traffic fines, pending verification, suspected fraud, or any amount owed by the Host under platform policies.
7. Damage, Fines, and Insurance
The Host must maintain valid insurance unless RideAway provides or arranges a separate trip-specific protection product. Any insurance or protection coverage will be subject to the applicable policy terms, exclusions, deductibles, and claim process.
- The Host must report vehicle damage, missing accessories, challans, theft, or misuse as soon as reasonably possible.
- RideAway may request photos, service estimates, invoices, police reports, insurance documents, or other evidence before processing a claim.
- The Host must not repair or dispose of disputed damage evidence before RideAway has had a reasonable opportunity to verify the issue.
- Traffic fines, towing charges, parking fees, or penalties may be assigned to the responsible party after verification.
8. Host Conduct
Hosts must treat riders respectfully, avoid discrimination or harassment, and use the platform only for lawful booking activity. Hosts must not demand off-platform payments, misrepresent vehicle condition, cancel repeatedly without cause, or interfere with rider safety.
9. Suspension and Termination
RideAway may pause a listing, suspend a host account, withhold payouts, or terminate access if the Host violates this agreement, creates safety risk, provides false information, receives repeated complaints, or fails required verification.
The Host may remove a listing subject to completion of active bookings, pending claims, outstanding amounts, and any notice requirements displayed in the app.
10. Contact
For host onboarding, listing support, payout questions, or agreement-related assistance, contact RideAway support.
